Perspectives
"To build a new world, change the way you see the one you're in, and upon those new perspectives lay a foundation of principles and practices to support the one you crave." - John
Part of our mission is to help you -- the awakening servers who will build the new world -- develop the perspectives, principles and practices it needs to flourish.
When you're locked into the status quo and all the dramas it brings for your consumption, it can seem almost impossible to break free of their hold and create anything else. That's because the beliefs and practices that hold it in place are self-perpetuating.
Our ability to create is limited by the tools with which we go about it. In order to create something new, we need to break old patterns and let go of the old ways of seeing life in this world, and shift into new ones that better empower us to create more of what we want.
Certainly the burden of that status quo is an immense challenge to overcome, for the collective consciousness is bogged down by the weight of beliefs past and present that are vested in the ways of struggle, suffering and conflict.
These underlying beliefs, along with the systems and institutions built upon them, must be challenged at every turn -- not so much within others, but within you as their expressions reveal themselves for you to address. Only once you are free from their hold will the new world begin to manifest for you.
The existing world will erect great barriers to your efforts. But do not resort to the old ways of meeting them head on. That will only keep you chained to your own ingrained tendencies toward conflict.
Rather, meet them with peace and persistent effort, illuminating their causes and deflecting their impact while you do your best to move into the light of awareness of what more you can express in life.
We try to help with that shift through our many efforts to show you new ways to get where you really want to go. After all, your mission is but a means to make that journey. Why not go about it in a way that gets you a little closer to your destination?
