Team building

Unless we're ascetics living alone in the wilderness, none of us can go it alone. Especially in undertaking a mission to make a difference.

We need people to serve. A world to change. Vendors to supply needed goods and services. Customers, donors or financiers to fund it all. Media and outlets to get the word out. People to do the mission's work. And lest we forget, your family and friends as well.

Every one of those is a relationship in the making, a heart waiting to be opened, a life needing to touch or be touched.

Each is a member of your team whether they are within your employe or not. You are all in it together in one way or another; your paths are interlaced, crossing back and forth to create experiences by which each of you will grow.

The question is, now that you know it, how will you go about it? Will you do so with blinders on, focused only on delivering the goods or services of your mission without really connecting to anyone along the way?

Or will you look at it as a path by which you get the chance to love and be loved as you stroll through your life, and do your best to do so in every moment?

Though the faces may change, or the numbers grow or shrink along the way, your team is already assembled. The state of your soul and what it takes from your mission will be determined by how well you love them, and allow them to love you.

So, what will your mission show the world about you?

What They're Saying

"Very few teachers today have the insight and wisdom of John Dennison - his thoughts and ideas are truly new and enlightening."
